Dave Miliotis Dave brings a breadth of knowledge and experience in the graphic arts industry to his position as associate recruiter with Susan Lee & Associates. His career in the industry spans nearly 20 years and includes hands-on experience as a press operator and production coordinator. Most recently, he has held senior management positions in manufacturing operations and human resources. As an apprentice press operator, he earned his journeyman's card in offset printing, becoming working foreman and then production coordinator for one of the largest independent forms and check manufacturers in the Midwest. After being promoted to operations manager, he returned to college and earned his bachelor's degree, during which time he developed a personnel department from scratch and later became the company's human resource manager. Most recently, he served as human resource manager for a large-format screen printer specializing in retail signs and displays. With 10 years of corporate recruiting experience for entry level, skilled technical, and senior management areas of the graphic arts, Dave is well qualified to assist clients in their searches. His experience in labor relations, compensation administration, and strategic planning for staffing offers clients a perspective that they appreciate. "With clients it's important to discuss not only the candidate requirements for the search, but the strategic vision for the department, too," Dave says. "In other words, where will the company be in 5 to 10 years? Will the candidate I present today contribute to this strategy in the future?"
